SYNOPSIS - Guna(Kamal Hassan) is a mad man who is told, by a fellow asylum- inmate, that Abhirami - the Goddess (Roshini) will marry him on a full moon day and will take him out of his miseries. He believes that he is God and wants to unite with Abhirami, the Goddess. So he kidnaps her; takes her along with him to a deserted Church on top of a hill and explains his love for her, and the film ends with the tragic death of the lovers.
a brilliant movie indeed..good script,direction coupled with the superb,effortless acting from kamal Hassan has made this movie a memorable one..
ReplyDeleteamazing movie.... insane people are not actually insane... it's just that others can't understand them. Guna was not mad...all the other characters except Abhirami were. the world is so cruel to special people. I love the climax. it is better that the couple reach God's abode rather than living in an insensitive world. hats off to Kamal Haasan.
